How are you feeling today?

Poster: Moodgadget

Seeing this poster this morning reminded me about what is important.
I'm worrying about the house not being decorated before the family arrive.
Is there enough food in the pantry?
Will it snow too much for them to arrive ... etc etc.

But if I start my day flowing through this chart I feel grounded and remember it's not about getting it all done, it's about being happy today and everyday.

I need to read my own advice...

Take two minutes to remind yourself of the Eight Shots of Wisdom too.

Have a great day wherever you are
&
make sure you don't waste it worrying.

Quite right, congratulations on enjoying all the preparations.
I shall be enjoying myself this afternoon bag packing for a friends charity in the local supermarket, with my jingly hat on meeting lots of new faces so a lot to feel good about today.
I'm sure everyone will arrive safely to your lovely home, I have put in an order with my relatives with influence up there for you!

I know when I get to go home and see my family I don't care if there's any food in the pantry or if there are any decorations up, just as long as there's coffee available! :)

Have a great time with your family!

And there's another nice "mantra": It'll be all right on the night, sister! And it mostly is! And in your case, it definately was!
