Creative Spaces- Knitting String

This week I found thicker, chunkier cotton 'rope' at the Beijing fabric market.
I just love knitting string.
Lots more colours to try out- pink, yellow and grey for starters.
Think this will be a table mat / hot pad, but 160 metres is a lotta rope so not sure when I will stop!
Today is Creative Space on Kootoyoo. This is where you should be if you want to share a creative moment from today.
Hope to see you there.

You'll have to recruit a team of knitters to help use up all that yarn. Wonder if the Chinese hand knit differently from the Continentals and English? Jenni

I've just found the best knitting book... you're going to love it. Lots of string-knitting projects. And a knitted chair cover. And knitting-fabric mixtures. It's called "New Knits" by Erika someone... you'll have to take a look when you get here.
